Fellow TDR members, Please Help.

I live in NE Ohio and

I've been on the prowl for a 99 through 2001 2500 QC 4X4 for about 8 months. Every time I think I find one, there is something wrong.

The truck I'm looking for needs to be manual shift. Preferably less than 50K on the Odometer.

What do you guys think I should expect to pay for the truck I just described.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Don

99 Ram pricing

Pricing is like opinions - Everyone has a different idea.

Soooooo - Here's mine:

I sold my 99 Ram 2500 4x4, Q-Cab, CTD, 5sp, SLT, Tow/Camper pack, HD T-case, tow mirrors, 2-tone paint and infinity CD last year (late Summer/early Fall) with 32,351 miles for $24,500 USD.

Add-On's included front receiver, upgrade rear receiver, full length running doors, commercial tools box, brake controller, mud flaps, 275 RV injectors, boost module and husky floor liners. The shop manual and a few extra filters also went in the deal.

It was very clean and still took about year to sell.

That spec truck goes for 15-30 around here depending on the variables like mileage, condition, private party or dealer.

Also - 50,000 miles would be low mileage for a 5 year old truck.

Happy Shopping

Theres a 2001 5-speed In the classifieds for $23,450 I think. The guy is in New Hampshire if you're willing to travel.

There looks to be a clean (from a distance) 99 SWB 4x4 5spd at a dealer here in Columbus. If you want I can swing by and look at it and get ya a number for the dealer. I think they want ~20K...

I know what you mean, I was looking for a truck for 5 months  , I am close to Pgh, PA. Finally I bought one in Texas :--) . Got a plane ticket, flew down & drove it home:D

Over in Indiana about 1 hour from cincinnati there is a 2002 2500 qc sb 6 speed with very very low miles it is sport pkg black I know it has every option I believe it even had leather. PM me if you want a phone number you could buy this one for around 27,500

Sweet Deal on a 2001

There's a real nice 2001 Dodge, 4x4, Long Bed, Quad Cab, 6 speed, H. O. 24-Valve, Spray in bed liner, just sitting on the local dealers lot for a low asking price of $29,950 "Genes' Chrysler" 907-458-3400 or 907-452-7117 ask for "Lee", I'm sure they could cut a sweet deal, it only has 13,500 miles on it. :--)

I really admire your patience in finding a truck. The time from me deciding I was going to buy a new truck and driving home mine was 3 days. I have always had a problem with being a compulsive buyer, heck this last 4th of July I bought another dirt bike that I took riding once. It's not like I have money, believe me I don't, it just seems that when I want something I go and get it. So, basically I have no advice in this situation since I've never been that patient, oh wait, I do have some advice, just go order what you want you won't regret it.

Broke but Happy,

Matt

Try Vin Devers Dodge in Sylvania Ohio {419}885-5111 Email or call them I dealt with them a couple years back and they were pretty helpful Then they had a guy working for them named Bob Lutz He went to all of the chrysler auctions from the try state area [OH,MI,IN. }including the Chrysler executive one in Auburn Hills. He told me he could find me anything I wanted, given the time. But I found one before he did,and lost touch with him. I dealt mostly with Sandy Montgomery. She is the one who knows how to get a hold of Bob as he is on the road constantly. Hope this helps and hope they still work there. Good Luck!

Sorry, That one's sold. ;)

Good friend of mine was on the prowl for a CTD when we found that one.

I'm driving him up tomorrow to pick it up. Oo.

He' thrilled.

Now we have 5 CTD's in our Fire Dept Parking lot. They were all Phords when I first came to the Dept.

How times change. ;)

Truck

If you are going to finance the truck you should seriously consider a new one. If you will figure the finance charges on a used truck verses all the perks they are now giving and the lower interest rates for new truck you will be surprised. bg
