Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Need to know where wire should go

The upper shock stud rubbed thru the wiring harness and Dodge replaced the wiring harness but failed to reconnect the black wire in pic. it begins where the red circle is and then ends with the ring terminal, it's about 8 inches long. Would anyone with a simular truck be so kind to let me know where it should be connected? It is located on driver's side close to the ABS unit. A pic of where yours goes would be great if not too much trouble.

It doesn't do anything, my truck has the same wire just sitting there.

Agreed. Just snapped a pic of mine in between changing the oil.

On my '01, that wire is bolted/grounded to the abs bracket.

Mine has been like this for 8 years that I know of, but it has always bothered me, I'm going to put it where Nick's is on the 2001.
