Need an electronics engineer who can tell me what equipment (or where to take it to) to trouble shoot electric arc in some part of the electrical system.

My places of suspicion are from the PDC, PCM, wiring harness, ECM has been replaced as well as altenator and batteries.

I am having problems with engine bucking, 1100 to 1275 RPM previous to new improved VP-44 and new 300 injectors. Now it bucks all the time.

Even going down a 8% hill !!!! Boost seems to be limited to 14 pounds, as was previous. I won't be able to get back onto the computer until the 7th of April, but look forward to your technical answers and comments.

Thank You

Much more information is needed. YOur question is very vague. Some part of the electrical system is a very large area?? Why do you suspect an electrical arc?? Have you seen it?? If so I would look right at the area that is arcing.

I have some of the osocilloscope pics on my readers rigs gallery. Please go to site features, readers rigs, Teds gallery these are some of what I have and Triing to get Girlfriend to get the rest of them on or be able to have access to post them but she is very very very slow in figuring how to get them to my gallery . I have seen the arc on the scope at the top of the PDC so this is what the problem is. The engine stumbles from idle up, this very slow fueling is because the signals to the vp44 are (distorted) the APPS doesn't hold the reset because of the bad signals so all it does is rev on minimum amount of fuel . I have got 30 miles to the imperial gallon this is about 7. 4 liters to 100 km's. The replaced vp44 and 300 injectors make the engine buck alot more even going down hill and at idle. I did get it to 15 lbs boost this morning but what a long time to get there and once I was off pedel slightly the boost dropped to ZERO. STILL A GUTLESS WONDER AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!
