2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need Tow hook help!!

Can someone tell me if dodge makes a front tow hook for a 2002 2500 I cannot find if so how much trouble are they to install

We dont need them. they are for getting towed by someone else :-laf. If you had a ferd you need them. Id like to know if they make one also. I havent ever seen one on a dodge

I bought an aftermarket one and some grade 8 bolts. I think I may have drilled one hole, can't remember but I used it yesterday to pull a new Dodge out of the ditch, worked fine and much cheaper than the factory ones.

Forget tow hooks. Get yourself a front mount receiver hitch like the one I put on my truck. It's made by Curt (p/n 31604)and didn't cost much more than the tow hooks mentioned in a previous post. Mine has stood up to the test of my Warn HS9500 making several max pulls while double-lined. It's also really handy for working on the engine if you fab up a simple step. Add a receiver shackle bracket and you have a really strong pull point that a strap cannot come loose from.

Yes tow hooks are available. I put them on my 01 a few years back. Installation is very straightforward, they bolt right up to the front ends of your frame. If you have a plastic air dam on the front, you will need to cut out a rectangular piece of plastic to allow the hook to protrude through (the cut-line should be molded into the plastic). I am not sure if the hooks are compatible with other add-ons such as steering stabilizers, front receiver, etc.
