thanks for the info, i did not know they had them for a 1-ton since they only offer them on a 1/2 sport or something like that. these trucks just do not have any good place to hook without some. will check wiht dealer tommorow siince i have to get a rear seal put in the transfer case!?
Just a thought here, I do not have one of these. Some folks are mounting a front reciever on their trucks and useing that as a tow point. Some of them say it puts a equal share of the load then are pulling on the frame plus it makes it easier to move trailers around. I was going to go this route but I too have a 5er vice a tag along and didn't see a need for me. I have a sport model and didn't like the look with a reciever on the front. I know that most of it is hidden. To steal a pharse from a good friend of mine " that is why they make Chocolate and vanilla
ice cream, people are differnt"
Good luck which ever way you go. The install of the tow hooks are easy and done in about an hour.
