Help! I need a exterior truck cover for my 92 4x4 extended cab long box. I have fir tree's around my yard and they shed worse than a sheep dog. I got's needles every where, yes every where! :--) I tried a few part's store's with no luck. At 21' long, my truck is too big for the cover's they have. Any help would be great help! :D

I could use a cover for my '83 crew cab as well. I park under a pine tree and have problems with sap in the spring/summer.

I don't have any measurements right now, but if your talking about having some made that would probably be better than anything off the shelf. Any idea about cost??

Not to change the subject, but Chris and Sam that is a great looking Crew cab. Wish I could have found a 70's early 80s CC before I did mine.

Pick up an RV type magazine, there are companies that make custom covers from your measurements for any type of vehicle.

Re: Truck Cover

Travis,

Good idea, we have a # of RV places down the road a bit. I have searched the net and came up with a few places, but most are car cover's and too far away. I was thinking of looking in some hot rod mag's to C what I can C, but again too far away. One place wanted $300. 00 US for a custom job. :( That's about $450. 00 Canadian, eh. I could almost get the truck painted for that.

Mysteryman,

What kind of $$ are you thinking? My truck is the same size every other one.

I was thinking they might even stock a cover to fit a full-size ex-cab long-bed pick-up. No sense re-inventing the wheel. Know what I mean?
