After my transmission upgrade is complete. I am wanting to add some hotter injectors. Nothing to crazy, maybe Mach 1. 6's. Anyway, What I am getting at is My slightly modified stock turbo that spools to 31psi will probley not be able to keep the EGTs down? (The injectors are in the 90hp range added to the CATHER that I already have. ) What turbo setup will keep my EGTs low even when pulling?

Thanks,

Derek

Dirty Dodge,

I think i would run on of the HTT or II 62's or 64's!

Im very fond of the Super Phat Shaft 66, I would think the 62 would cool you well and provide good spool up! 64 would probably be the better bet! But these things spool great!

My 2001. 5 ETH has 130HP extrude hones, and with the HTB2 62/12 I can pull my 8000 lb pulling truck and 20+5 gooseneck with little to know EGT problems. If I let the RPM drop below say 1800 in 6th gear on a grade, then it will hit the 1300 mark. As long as I keep the RPM up above 2100 I can pull any of the big ol hills we have in central indiana(none).

Second Industrial injection's super phat shaft 62. It is what I'm running and love it. I'm getting f-1 mach 4's in this friday and was told I will not have any egt issues. I tow about 6k on a regular basis and have no issues now. It has good spool up and I think anything bigger is too laggy for an auto. Good luck!! :)

Derek, you might want to give the guys at Dynomite Diesel in Monroe a call 360-794-7974. They sell a turbo called the Airator which can support up to 425hp and is a GREAT all around daily driver turbo that can still handle some fuel and keep things cool. They can also help you out with some injectors and dyno your truck for you all in house.

I had no EGT problems running a Dodgezilla with a 14 cm wastegated housing, on my ETH with Mach 3. 8's.
