My goal is to get low 14's in the 1/4 mile and still be able to tow my 12,000lb trailer. I am currently running 14. 9 - 15. 1 consistantly with DDUFM, DD2's, HY35, 35" tires, ATS triplelock. When I tow, I tow with OD locked out and run between 2100-2300 rpm at 65-70mph. I may consider lower gearing, but it seams to work well as is. I want to tow so megamental or supermentals are out. I would also like to avoid a lot of turbo lag, I sure like how fast my HY gets out of the hole. My question is should I go with HX35 14cm or HX40 and DD3's. I was also thinking of a SMALL dose of propane for the track, maybe between 50-65HP. Can this be done safely? My truck is the ETC not ETH. I talked to Piers about this and he referred me to the TDR. Your ideas would be appreciated, before I blow money on something I wish I didn't.
