I have finally found my draw on my truck. If I unplug the large connector under the drivers seat the draw goes away. I know the seatbelt timer control works off of this circuit but there is a lot of draw for that. I hooked up my ammeter at 10a setting and it sent it into overload which means I am pulling more than 10a does anyone have a wiring diagram for this and could the soelenoids or stc really pull that much

Don't think the timer pulls that much. Can you check the individual wires to see which one is shorted? My guess is that it will be a wire under the floor mat near the brake/clutch pedal. Reason for this is I had a short in 05 Merc that was tripping a 50 amp circuit breaker and that's where i found it, also had similar trouble with a 02 Silverado and it also was in that area. Good luck. bg

BSMcCauley I think you were right on. I went to plug the connector back together and heard an arc. It turned out that the drivers seat wire loom for the drivers side seat switch was chafed and bare wire was touching the seat frame.

Ya me too ,,I was under my seat looking to see how the seat belt timer unbolts,,an saw 2 chaffed/melted wires.
Does any one know where on here that shows the wire colors that feed what items?

THANKS
