hey joe maybe its not mech. its tapped into the trans lines instead of the pan. i looked at the back of the gauge an it has three posts on it i dont remember what they go to?it lights up, needle just dont move :-{} i tried the 175 today just aint seeing a big diff. maybe its because i need to get a drag comp,an its not being fueled enough. i guess just injectors aint cutting it.

didnt use hobbs switch ,i didnt know what wires to put on it

On mine the hobbs switch makes the ground, on my relay it's the white wire. Set at 20 psi. Ground wire (white) on one post and a ground to chassis on the other.

There are times when 30 psi would be better, like the other day when I put it sideways in the road at 50 mph :)

Jim you drive around daily with it on? That would get expensive. 25-30 would be to high for me. Im surprised its not for you either, maybe in a second stage. I like to feel mine so i set it at around 13psi. Like i mentioned eairler i only make about 20+ horse more at the upper end over the turbo and you know how fast the sps66 lights. There just isnt enough seat of the pants feel compaired to where i have it set. ;) Ive got about 220 horse in an instance at 13psi compaired to 50hp between 20-45psi and that happens in dang near an instance.

I only use mine for playin around though also, thats why im looking for the second stage now Oo.

I don't use mine that much anymore! I rented a 60 lb bottle to fill mine up and I figure I've used 3/4 of it testing and learning. N2O is too expensive to run all the time but ok to tune and play with. If I'm below 20 psi and not at WOT it wants or will blow the fire out. On my truck it's not just a little jump, it's a huge S. O. P jump! A second stage would only be need at dyno event and I will do that. Last night was an exception, just showing a bud how Diesel's like N2O.

BOTW, the 66 lites very well but it's after say 1800 now! Bottom line it's a 66 and not a HY-9.

Im sorry i forgot you have a 12v, right. I guess they act totally different because mine with the box on and nitrous to inject at anything above 20 psi is just useless because it lights to fast and i cannot throw any more fuel at it. Thats why i like mine lower. I wish i had a scanner so i could scan my dyno run. On fuel only (+ box) it had a nice sloping increase but when i had the N2O on and it lit, it was a straight up line to about max power, thats where im getting a little over 220 hp out of a 150 nozzle. I just need MORE fuel :{

kelly,im thinkin about puttin it in. im sure scooby would love you to light that grill also! Oo. Oo. Oo. i need to get a drag comp again to make this kit really work, i should have never sold it :{

Hey Kel those burgers and dogs got my mouth watering over here :-laf ;) - This weekend's off though droping my tank to do the ^$##^& brake line replacement and hopefully installing Centramatics and new air filter (if they ever arrive :mad: ), S'all good. Let me know about that new outfit "R & M Diesel Performance & Suspension", I hear they're pretty darn good :D . Anyone else here of them?

I can help you next weekend !!!! :cool: let me know :D

Hey Kelly I'm cool with what I have to do - thanks for the offer. I was just saying as far as a bombing thing @ your place that I'm booked with my issues to resolve this weekend.

So you never responded about that new outfit that's doing Diesel Bombs that I mentioned, you know "R & M Diesel Performance & Suspension" - what have you heared about them . . . Any good??? If they are a good outfit and there really isn't any other in our area let's give them their props. ;)

Nice install. As far as wiring for the Hobbs switches - looks like the wiring goes: one wire from Hobbs' to solenoids, then to the arming switch (s?) (can't see the rest), then to power, then remaining wire @ solenoid to ground? Henceforth no need for a programing/control box - am I even close?

I like where you put the arming switch etc. makes the best use out of the garage door opener compartment that I've seen so far ;)

That sounds about right on the wireing. I put my tst remote box in the garage door slot and the main box behind the emergency break. Everybody sees the standard guages (fuel, transmission, blank for right now) and no boxes and thinks, huh stock :-laf
