Needed Moog Trackbar part number for 2001 2500

Does anyone know what the part number is for a 2001 MOOG trackbar. I only have listings up to 98

Mine is gone and I am trying to price one. What have you all payed for one. Also looking for other suggestions. I do know about Luke's Link

As far as I know, neither Moog nor NAPA have any parts listed for the 2001's yet. I know. I've tried. I'm rebuilding my track bar with a Luke's Link, and Energy Suspension bushings.

I've had to replace the steering gear, and will be replacing the steering pump, both with replacements from AGR, as they're the only ones I could find. The ball joints are also bad, those aren't available anywhere for the 2001's either. Except from a company in Texas I never heard of.

It'll probably be the last part of 2003 before any of the good suppliers like Moog have anything for the 2001. I hope.

The track bar has not changed in years. They may have changed it on the 2001. 5 model because of the disc brake set-up. I believe the bar goes back to the 94 new body style. The books and computers are the problem in most cases. Call your DC parts department and ask them if the track bar that you have left over from your 95 is the same as the current model. (wink wink) I bet you a cold drink that they would be a match. I could not find a track bar for my 2000 until I did this. Once I had a part number all of the parts jockeys/jokes could find the part. The Carquest number that is DS 1413. They all have cross refrence systems in their computers. I got mine for $165. 74 and have traded it in on a clean on twice. It is the identical bar a the stock one at half the price with a lifetime warranty.

I have the Moog track bar,although not the # ,lost the paper work ya know. The moog one has a fatter joint end than the stock one, works good now will see in time how long it lasts. Cost was $165. If you still need the # e-mail me I can get it on monday, their closed on Sun.

I baught a carquest/moog part. Now to get some good weather. Is it really neccessary to get the front axle of the ground to replace.

Advice welcome.

MOOG Track Bar p/n

The Track Bar p/n for 2001 MOOG Brand is DS1256 and they should be shipping. But there not cheap. It features a larger 1. 25 ballStud for greater load caps... Glenn, EGR Severe Service Brakes

Is there any reason the new, larger track bar will not fit up on the older trucks for a little more durability?
