Neglected preventive maintenance?

Has anyone gone through the trouble of re-torquing their head bolts after a certain milage or hours??

Why do you have to clean the tps on autos?

Also how would I do this job?

TPS problem solved!!

I was just reading a thread about someone who solved a TPS problem by cleaning and Dielectric greasing the plug in.



Would it be of any benefit to unplug ALL of the under hood connections on a 12 or 24 month basis and clean and "relube" them?

Important things not to add to the list

1. Glow plugs (not, thankfully)

2. turn signal fluid

3. adjust the piston return springs

4. spread the points

5. kick the tires (while drinking a beer)

6. that reminds me, restock the beer in fridge
