I pulled into my drive this afternoon and noticed my neighbor had a new 05 CTD hooked up to his 20ft trailer. Not to long ago we were talking one day, and I ask him if he was one that traded trucks every couple of years and he replied "no" I'll keep this 03 CTD at least a couple more years. He runs a bread route, pulling a 20ft trailer. His 03 I know was right at a 100K miles if not over. I am curious to know why he traded now if he was having any problems, or just wanted the 325/610. The 03 he had was a 305/555 with the 6-speed. :)

Yes, is there more to this story as I sure don't know what your neighbors reasons are for trading.

Well his son just turned 16 and I have noticed the boy driving the 03 around some,he's kind of wild child, reckon he could of "toasted" the Cummins. Keep em Cummin! this is great. :-laf

So what color is the new truck... White Bread White, Whole Wheat Tan, or Pumpernickel Black?

(This thread was so painful, I had to join in... )

Very clever

He runs a bread route

Perhaps he just had some extra Dough

Or perhaps he just thought he kneaded one

Or His Business Was On The Rise

so we know he's not a loafer

I think he just had some bread that was getting a little stale

Maybe the seats in the old one were getting crusty . Or maybe the electonics were toast.

he could of "toasted" the Cummins

obviously the man has the bread

At yeast he bought another Cummins

Anyway you slice it, he did the right thing

White Bread White, Whole Wheat Tan, or Pumpernickel Black?

Maybe he's tired of sitting in a cold truck & wanted bun warmer seats

Bread Man

I've been doing the same thing up in Canada delivering pita bread, bagel, tortillas, baklava for the last 14+ years, only problem is that i get stuck driving a ford diesel(sorry TDR someone has to do it). Owners said that Fords were a better vehicle ,but hey they must rolling in the DOUGH to keep spending the money on repairs or there pockets must be full of DOUGH,transmission/,alternator/starter/frontend every 60000miles at $6000$7000+US. After about 200000miles these 7. 3 need alot of work, injectors, glow plug/ turbo, major computer problems/lots of smoke and they don"t like to start after -10/-15C. Mileage is poor, full, empty, mostly city/some highway best is 10/12MPG. Remember---NICE BUNS BREAD MAN :-laf :-laf :-laf and no honey i didn't give you that yeast thing you have
