Nerf bar extension....

Question for the general populous... .



My 2010 came with (actually I ordered) the side steps on the truck. However, now that I have them, I'm really unhappy with them. They either need to stick out farther or hand down lower as my foot hits the lower body of the truck and makes them almost useless.



In my case, ground clearance is not an issue and I want to lower them 2-4 inches. Does anybody know if they make extensions or of some way to do this?



Am I the only one that has an issue with them?

Dunno bout the 'stensions, but they seem to work well for my size 12 steel toe clodhoppers... They -are- closer to the body than my 05 was, and it took a little getting used to but its all good now. I like the extra ground clearance, some job sites I`m on have some nasty ruts, havent got stuck yet. .
