I am looking for some advice on what brands of powder coated nerf bars you guys are using on your reg cab ram, and are they sturdy enough to actually use them? Any info will be appreciated!! Oo.

nfox I have luverne nerfs on my '97 CTD reg and the are solid. I even got high centered on them and the held the truck up . They are very strong ... mount to the frame... and are reasonably prices. I think i paid 140 for the pair.

I bought Westins because a neighbor with a Brand F had his truck resting on his Westin nerf bar. (Also high-centered) It didn't even change the mounting angle.

They are stronger that you might think.

I didn't see anything I really liked, so I made mine out of 2" square tubing. I had them Line-Xed and they're holding up very well. They are vertically adjustable and service the back doors and front portion of the box too. They're in my Readers Rigs.

IF YOU GET NERFS BE sure to get the ones that connect to the bottom of the body mounts and not the ones that connect to the body under the door.

ROWILSON has the COOL auto steps PM him foir details those babies are great

I have the MAAP 304SS nerfs on my quad cab. Very sturdy and nice looking. I'm about 220 lbs. , and they're plenty strong for me. I've seen so many rusty nerfs, it's nice to know these will hold up in the rust belt... . :)
