About a week ago, I started noticing a vibration when I hit about 60-65 mph in my 02 2500. I was looking all over trying to figure out what it was, today I found two cracks, both about 4" long in the sheet metal in fron of the passenger side rear tire. I looks like a spot weld inside the wheel well let go and the metal eventually gave way. The whole section of the body is pretty flimsy now. I'm going to talk to a body shop here on monday to see what they can do for me. Anyone else ever heard of this?

Not me - I'd try a few sets of small vice grips to re-fasten the sheet metal to see if this is really the vibration problem. Either way you need to get the loose metal fixed. 3-M Has some pretty wicked adhesive/epoxies that work just as good (if not better) than welding - especially if the paint being burned by welding could be an issue for you the 3-M glue doesn't burn . . . .
