Maybe a repeat, but........

A Story While Getting Fuel

Just a true story from this weekend.

We got called out for a structure fire in the next town. So I jump in our Tanker, (1976 Mack) and go cruising down the road. Coming up a large hill and I'm almost to the top when all of a sudden we hear a pop and I hear a whistle. At first I thought I lost an air line but upon thinking ( and before I pulled over to check ) It comes to me. I lost the turbo line going to the motor. I know it will drive to the fire at least before I have to fix it. so we get to the fire take care of business and while we are mopping up I pop the hood. Low and behold the hose had blown off the turbo. Got a screwdriver and fixed it with a pipe clamp and went home.

Never would have known what it was unless I drove a diesel.

We should get a boost guage on this thing ;)

Now that we're on the subject of water fights. I got one started at the bus garage, with the lady bus drivers, one day at the end of the school year. Since there were 30 of them and only one of me, they were getting the best of me until I emptied a extinquisher, filled it with water and pressurized it with compressed air. My new gun shot a nice wide 20 foot stream. They couldn't even get close to me after that :D

Doc

Doc has it figured out. . he has a wet t-shirt contest and they think it's a water fight. I guess it's all in the point of view.

I'm in awe:p :D :D
