WHOOOO-HOOOO... Ken Jones of Diesel Performance of Utah, in coordination with Dipricol gauges have developed a 0-30psi mechanical fuel gauge with isolator for use in our 24v and 12v trucks... . :D :D

These gauges will be white faced with crome bezels. 0-30 psi easy to read markings, including a 0-5psi "red" danger area. The needle will be red and back lit for easy reading at nite.

Ken is still working on getting a 5' braided steel line from the gauage to the isolator and a 4' braided line to be used to hook-up to the isolator from the filter or the injection pump as part of the kit.

These will be available and on display at May Maddness in Las Vegas. .

More details to follow:

Oo. Oo.

Fuel Pressure Gauges

We have been working with Di Pricol as well on the fuel pressure topic. I'm waiting for my first batch.

They will be an electronic gauge meaning they are reported to be using a Stewart Warner transducer at the pressure source. You don't have a pressurized fuel hose within the cab this way. The wire harness will enter the cab and connect to the gauge.

I hope your right about the fuel gauges being available at May Madness. I can't get my hands on them at moment, and we have been waiting for several monthes.

New gauges!!!

HVAC..... they will be there at May Madness... I will be getting the first prototype this Sat. If for some reason ken Jones can't get them in time, my truck will be there to see... :D

SteveK... . Hopefully, in a few days I will know about price and availability. . I'll keep everyone informed as I get more information... Tks,

New gauges

45A1... . Spoke to Ken Jones of Diesel Performance today... My gauge is in and I'm going to pick it up and install saturday... He's got 10 or more sets on order and should be available in approx. a week... . They will be complete sets, gauage and braided steel hoses and isolator. I will try to post a picture this weekend for those of you who are on fence deciding what to do! They will also be for sale and on display at May Madness. Oo.

Those of you which might be intrested, post "yes" to give Ken an idea of how many to order. I know none of us know price yet including me!!, However, this is the best thing out there now and will complement your other Dipricol gauges. If you don't have gauges, Ken also sells the matching boost & Pyro white face crome gauges.

P. S. I am not affiliated with Ken Jones of Diesel Performance of Utah, only a happy customer. :D

i'll be interested to hear how it works out. it seems like i just read a post about some guys having trouble with sound in the cab with mechanical units. is that just when they are hooked up by the injection pump? also, don't some people reccomend using rubber hose to dampen pulses... or is that just with the electical senders?

New gauges

451A... I currently have the mechanical 0-16 autometer fuel pressure gauage... . There is NO noise and mine is hooked-up to the injection pump!! There are no pulses. I think those that are having problems are those that are not using an isloator. . The line from the pump is pressurized with diesel fuel to the isolator and from the isolator to the gauage is filled with either anti-freeze or hydralic fluid. No moving parts, no electrical compoents to fail and very accurate.

I have been using the autometer gauage for over a year now with no problems... The only problem is my current fuel pressure exceeds the 0-16PSI the gauge max.

I'm am very confident the new Dipricol gauge will react the same, with a higher mechanical reading 0-30PSI 270 degree sweep with each pound being displayed.

30# Electric Fuel gauge

If you guys are waiting on a 30# fuel pressure gauge with an electric fuel sender then e-mail me -- email address removed --. These are Westach gauges. They are easy to read day or night. Sam

From talking with my distributor as well as Ken Jones, the #30 gauge is not electronic and will use an isolater in line. It will be chrome with a white face if I recall. The #50 gauge will be black like my other DiPricol gauges and will be electronic and use a transducer to signal the gauge.

I hope we will see an electronic version with a #30 psi scale. Price will be <1-Atilla :)

New gauge

Put new Dipricol fuel pressure 0-30psi in today... ... ... Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Rather than talk about it my neighbor took some pictures today and I'll post them tommorrow for all to see... . Oo.
