New '05 Need Recommendations

Just got my mew '05 and am ready for mild customizing.



For tubular side steps would you recommend Mopar or third party? I prefer Chrome.



I need a tailgate for towing the fifth wheel. I have a Camping World near our house but have not checked their stock. What do you all use?



Mounting guages seems to be a bit of a problem. I have heated seats and the switches take up a good portion of the compartment below the radio and heater controls. What do you think of BD Power's X Monitor. I have the light interior and I'm afraid the black vacuum form case will look a bit out of place. I have also looked at all the solutions at Geno's Garage. Any other suggestions?



Last, I would like a 50 Gal aux tank/tool box combo for the bed. So far I have looked at Transfer Flow and Aero-Tanks. I am leaning toward Diamond plate since the paint got abused pretty bad on my last truck.

Nasta nerf bars i have them on my 96 and my dad's 04 excellent quality all stainless even the bolts and as far as gauges get the a piller mount

You'll want stainless bars if you plan on keeping your truck for a while. Chrome rusts, and paint peels. I have had Luverne in the past, as well as on my current truck with good results.
