New 06, some high hp modding questions

Well I'm picking it up today. But I know I won't be leaving it stock for too long. I like to put a little over 10,000 miles on before any mods start should take me about 3 months, but I'm going to start collecting parts in advance.



I had an 04. 5 with TST and Ramifier stacked on the stock turbo. Was planning a bigger single before I sold it. I'll be towing with this truck so am planning on twins... which ones??? Also considering doing injectors and a box instead of stacked boxes. Any advantages one way or the other?? Also I know I will need a clutch.



I don't have a certain hp goal in mind but would like to be around 500hp reliably with no EGT issues while towing 10k+ pound trailer.

DDP has a great special on injectors through February. March 1st the price doubles. Had mine done last Friday. Great upgrade. Will get you started on your power quest.

The upgrade was done just last week. I averaged 12. 6mpg at 70mph over 246miles towing my Jeep and trailer. The truck only averaged 13mpg when new from the factory. The truck had some smoke when empty. No more smoke empty/towing. I had no plans to modify truck. The upgrade was half off the regular price for February.



Since refueling I've put about 100 miles on the truck. Won't know until later this week or next the mileage empty.



All hand calculated. My overhead console is consistently 2mpg wrong.
