New 07 5.9 anything to look for?

I picked up a 07 5. 9 two weeks ago & I'm wondering if I should be on the look-out for anything in particular. I say this because my 04. 5 had six bad injectors from the factory & it was a bear to get them to fix it right all at once. Can I get the hight idle through the cruis control turned on in this truck? The only thing I have noticed so far that concerns me is rough idle cold & warm. The other morning when it had been in the low 20's over night when it had put itself on high idle it sounded like it was only hitting on five cylinders. I blipped the throttle & it smoothed out some. I hope this isn't a road I have been down before.

I had about 300 miles on mine and a couple times it idled really rough and once while driving. It cleared up after about 1/4 mile or so. I bought some lucas treatment and have treated the last 3 tanks and have had no problems since. You can turn on the high idle, it takes the dealer about 5 minutes. Don't let them charge you very much if anything at all. Other than that I love mine. Did exhaust @ 200 miles 5 inch turbo back. Love it. Have a blast with your new ride.

Yes, you can get the cruise high idle turned on, I just had a dealer who I have purchased 5 trucks from in the past, but not this one turn it on, and he charged me $20. I squawked real loud, especially after he told me they turn theirs on on the predelivery, because on my last truck they didn't, I had it turned on at another dealer on warranty. I didn't pay the $$! I really like my 06, better than any of the others. Just waiting for my Rancher grille guard to try to keep the jumpers out of my after cooler!
