Man if we keep getting gains like this out of our poor old weak SO motors everybody is going to want one.

I should be comfortably over 500 when I get done with my build up, so thats a 300+ hp gain for me as well on a poor ole' SO :D :-laf

Tell me about it, Makes me wonder if our trucks have different timing... AND when we are off the throttle we get good mileage (only 196hp worth :))

Another thing -Lonestar, I hope you don't mind But I have a few pics of your truck, and I always tell my friends its is what my truck wants to grow up to be... . 6inch lift, 37's, nice, very nice

One more thing, I honestly am stopping when I hit the 500 mark... ... ... ... .

.

.

.

.

Well, maybe a little N20, just to clean it up :-laf

That is my HP goal also BUT by the time I get there I'll raise my goal higher yet!

What are you at now?

With a B1 and a TST, I bet you are close to mid 400's - throw some pressure in there and a fuel pump, and call it macoroni

Yeah, when I got this truck I made a deal with my wife that I wasn't going to bomb it :-laf

I guess I broke my end of the deal!!

If you want any more pics let me know, that's quite a compliment in my mind.

sooo... .

anyone heard more about the Edge Juice for the 555 motors? ;)

Yep! :D Should know more next week!

Hey Tomeygun, your SO will probably get more HP than the HO's. Not meaning necessarily more top HP, just more increase over stock HP.

I hope, cause this is going to be showdown at the chaney house

The top box gets the luxury life under my hood (Hot vs TST) - The attitude will not sway me I dont think, Its cool and all but a bit fancy for me (though the records are cool)

I don't think Edge's objective is to make the "HOTTEST" box on the market, I think it is to make the smoothest and most reliable with limited chance of major engine/turbo damage. I know when I talked with Aaron yesterday, he said it was only going to be a 100 HP box, I asked why, and he replied, "Because of the turbo weakness", referring to the stock turbo.

Now from my experience with the Beta Juice last year, the stock turbo handled the 133 HP it gave me over stock just fine, just had a few codes.

Now, having said this, I know that there has been several failures with the 600 Juice, however, there has also been many failures, turbo's eaten and code issues with the TST and these are also continuing to happen. I'm certainly not saying one is better that the other. I think both manufactures are trying to make the best product they can and a person has to make a choice according to features, functions, driveablility and to their own personal needs. Most of us are not drag racers or sled pullers or trying to be the top Dyno Dog, we are just looking for something that fits our needs. Now as far as blowing away for PS or Dmax, I think just about every one of us are up to putting them in their place! Oo.

Good point, I think edge will fill a nice little viod with a 100hp box... (for those who do not want pressure to be the power maker)

But I hope there second objective is to make the highest HP box... It might not be for everyone, But I know alot of HOT + DRAG boxes get sold, So there must be some market...

I will suffer through the 100hp box and get the HOT upgrade ASAP...

The silver lining is that the stock injector'ed 3rd gen engine CAN make 500hp (or just shy of it) -- So the programming ability is there AND EDGE has the tools (a juice that modifies all three parameters) to do it...

BUT will they ? (I mean how far will they go? - with pressure too, whats the max with the right AIR? - I hope they want to see the extreme limits of the CR like I do)

IMO, I would think that the "Hot Juice" would make more than 180 HP because on the 03-04's it will also have pressure added to the timing and duration. But again, this is my opinion. And actually Tom eluded to that.

Time will tell. :D
