I've been browsing this forum for the last year, ever since I bought my '93, and have picked up a lot of great tips and tricks. I couldn't have worked around my TPS problem without help from this group. Why I waited this long to subscribe I'm not sure. I was coverted about a year ago when I sold my '99 2500 4x4 CTD 5 spd. and purchased the 12 valver. There's just something about these old trucks...



I now truly feel like part of the fold and look forward to participating. Hope to meet some of you guys who are in the northeast as well.

Welcome NYChris. What part of Upstate do you hail from? I was born and raised in Albany and spent a lot of time hunting, camping and generally raising H@!! - had a lot of fun in the process. I escaped to the west coast in the late 60's. I still have friends back there that I keep in touch with. Good to have on board you'll like the guys on this site.

I live near Malone, NY - about an hour west of Plattsburgh. We're in the northern foothills of the Adirondacks.

I knew the area well - I'm sure it's changed in the past 30 years. I also spent a lot of time in the Lake George to Lake Luzerne areas. I was back there in 1998 and was able to find some places that looked the same but many that didn't.

Welcome aboard! I could have subscribed back in 96, but didn't until I had a bad problem about lack of power. The flat spot on my head is from the 2x4 that I hit myself with about every third day.

My dad and grandparents live in South Boston, VA, east of Danville. We get down that way on occasion.
