I cant figure out what i want to do. I have 45000 on my truck and owe 22000 for it. But with the new one my payments would go down 100$ with the 3. 9%. But i would start all over again. I still have 32 payments on the 99. what do you all think. I need to hear from people to help me. Thanks

The payment may be lower but what's it going to cost you overall? I've never understood guys getting new trucks every two years. I'm just too cheap.

I had a '96 that my dad 'stole' and now I have a '00. I really don't think there are enough big differences to justify spending the money for a new truck. Yes, I like my '00 better but if my dad hadn't commandeered my '96 I'd still be driving it.

It's your money. I traded a 98 auto for the 01 high Output. Payment went up but I haven't regretted it. I think I made a good decision.

I traded my '99 auto complete with optional brake pull and extra cost steering wander for an '01 ETH/DEE and haven't had any regrets yet. I don't expect any, but I say yet because I've only had the '01 about three weeks.

My '01 steers and stops better than the '99 ever did. It's so much better that these reasons alone are enough for me to justify the change to myself.

Good luck with your decision,

Mike

I traded my '98 for a 2001 and lowered my payments the same way. I now have 4wheel disc brakes and many other improvements. I have three more years of payments but I also have a brand new truck again! My vote... Go for it!
