Picked up my wife's truck today and the sales manager(our salesman) stated the Detroit Diesel V8 would be offered along with the Cummins! It would be a less expensive option and more appealing to those who want the acceleration of a V8. This source has yet to lead me astray-he was right on top of the ETH/DEE info(slightly behind the TDR, of course #ad

I don`t know about anyone else, but my I-6 accellerates fine! I have no complaints.

Even with a bone stock Cummins,who was ever dusted by a Detroit? Sorry,but I call it BS! There's alot of more important things DC needs to spend money on improving,and offering two diesels at the same time doesn't sound like something DC cares about doing for us.
