mind me asking what kind of incentives/rebates you ended up getting on a 13 model?
They knocked a little over 10K off the list price

She's mighty purdy...:) Good looking rig!!
Thanks, I'm really liking this truck.

Would it look something like this (missing a little bling though)

I did a double take, cept my Lance is a 1050s, but thanks for the preview. On second look, yours looks like a 1050s as well. Did you
add any suspension help?

Jumbo Jet,

Yep, it would look similar under my Lance; however, my Lance is older and not as tall since the floor of the camper is on the truck bed and the bedroom overhead isn't quite as tall either. My overall height is 10'3" to the top of the A/C unit when loaded on my truck. I'm afraid your rig wouldn't pass through my 12' high shop door.

I have that photo of your truck and Lance on my computer. Did you see it in the TDR Magazine, Issue 83, page 112?

I was wondering when you and Boomer II would compare notes.:D

Bill, I can get my Lance through my 12' door on my 97, I'll have to watch carefully pulling it out on the new truck, hopefully it will clear.

Boomer II,

One other thing I thought of is your GPS/satellite radio reception may be partially blocked by the camper overhead. You may have to re-locate your antenna. IIRC, Jumbo Jet has alleviated that problem with a magnetic mount antenna.

I found this on the Lance Owner's of America forum might also be helpful if you encounter this problem.

Thanks Bill, I've been researching that problem. As a matter of fact I posted that link under
the screen name RedRocker. A diesel mechanic friend of mine, Andy Redmond, found that and
sent it to me. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to where to access the antenna wire.
I was hoping folks would pass that info around, thanks.

Ah ha, now I know who you are... RedRocker From reading your posts, I could tell you were in TX, but I couldn't pin the area down. Thanks for letting me know. It's pretty obvious who I am over there.

So you know Andy too. I've known Andy for years... great guy and knows his stuff! If my truck ever skips a beat, Andy is who I will call.

Yes sir, as a matter of fact I'll be at his house in the morning to do some work on my Jeep. He's a top notch guy that I
think very highly of. He's done all the work on my 97 over the years & it runs like a champ.

Nice truck--welcome to the 4th gen! I've got an Arctic Fox on order, so I'm about to follow suit on that side of the equation (won't have it by Easter, though).

This will be our first long trip with the Lance & first trip with the new truck. Hope to see you there Mark, we're staying at Canyonlands across from Guy.
