Well, I sold my 2003 2500 6speed with 508k miles on the clock and bought a 2019 from a dealer off the interwebs. The truck will be delivered Wed or Thurs. Its gonna be a long week waiting but I saved 5k over the best deal I could work locally.

I modified my 2003 to 500hp when new and consistently got 20 mpg and never had a major problem with the engine. I did however completely rebuild the truck around that Cummins! I was planning on putting a million miles on it so I had treated her well.

Don't think I will do much to the 2019, maybe a Fass system and better air filter to keep things clean.

I'll post pics of the new truck when it gets here.

I have been on the forum since 1999 just don't post much. I actually had to reregister (same username) because I haven't been on here in so long.

Congrats and keep it stock... The filter box does a great job on it's own and tinkering with a FASS will give the dealership a possible reason to void any fuel system work. You could do a throttle sensitivity booster or maybe a Titan oversize fuel tank of course though.

Congrats on the new truck.

You won't find better air or fuel filtration than what comes on it stock, so don't waste your money on products that can't improve upon the OEM ratings.

FASS was great on older trucks that needed it. With the lift pump and double filtration stock, there is really no need for it on a '19. Stock air filter flows plenty and filters well.
