The other side of that coin is Ford created artificial engine sounds inside my 2020 Ford Edge ST! Vroom Vroom!

Many vehicles have that, not just Furd’s.

I have it on a new Laramie, and I DO NOT LIKE IT. It sounds like some kind of artificial diesel noise in the cab that is real annoying, If Im on a rough road, it has a droneing, thumping, bass sound, it almost sounds like a kid had pulled up beside me with a boom box sometimes. I've even turned the radio off thinking it was coming from the song, or the speakers somehow, but it didn't make any difference, but the sound is coming out of the speakers. I called the dealer just this morning, and told him about it, and is there a way to shut it off, but no. I did find out there have been a bunch of complaints about it, and he said to bring it in next week, and they have to go through a bunch of steps to diagnose it, but he said they will get it fixed, through either a new software update or a new sound component.

If this is part of the "noise canceling system", per the OM, if any window is open, the system shuts off.. You might try cracking a window or two and see what happens, I have noticed when I crack the rear windows or sunroof the engine sound is a little more pronounced.. Of course the window is alittle open also

Not sure if it will help, but in the audio menu of the 8.4NAV on my 2017 and on my wife's 2019, there is an option to adjust audio at speed. I'm out with family making deer sausage, so can't go look now.

FYI on noise cancellation, in AlfaOBD, I found under car config, P/T Chassis Net: ANC Active Noise Cancellation, Select Value is Enabled or Not Enabled. Not sure if this would be to turn off or not since I don't have that on my truck. Just wanted to post it and if it does work, Post it in the AlfaOBD thread of things done with Alfa. Thanks.
