I changed mine at 20k and sent in a sample. It came back pretty bad, so I drank Ron's Kool-Aid and ordered the Amsoil fluids for both diff's, transmission and transfer case. I'm at 47k now and changed it again a couple months ago but didn't send in a sample. It looked better than the Mopar. Just ordered another batch of Amsoil and another filter package from Geno's.

I would wait from 3 to 5 k . Not much sense in doing it any sooner . I use Valvoline 5-40 . Delo , Shell T6 are also good oils . Mopar , Fleetgurd and Napa gold are all good filters . Amsoil claim to fame was it was the first synthetic on the market when there were virtually none . Those days are over the big 3 make oil that will do the job . Buy your fuel filters on line and never buy an off brand because they are cheaper . Cheap and China are synonyms . Enjoy your new trucks .

By "buy your fuel filters online" you mean from Genos Garage right? Because if you buy on Amazon you are highly likely to run into Chinese counterfeits that come in a box that looks EXACTLY like the real thing. Not all online buying is equal and not all "Fleetguards" are Fleetguards.

I didn't mention that you said anything. Geno's is good no doubt, but the same can be had from time to time from different suppliers for less, and for those of us who live on the west coast, Geno's shipping times and cost kinda suck

Even in the East Coast it takes a few days,. I try to keep consumables like filters in stock at home for at least one change. I usually buy them when they run a sale and buy more than one set.. I am re-tooling now from my 5.9 days, everything is backordered so just waiting, at least I am not due till summer but sure need to get a spare set of fuel filters on the shelf.
