Truck pull in Wash. Pa Aug 18

Is there a Florida Chapter?

In, Oh, Pa, W Va. Some guys are getting a pro-stock Diesel class going for next year for these areas. Plus a steady stock Diesel class. Most of the time out here, the Diesels pull exhibition, or try to strip enough to run with the gassers.
Any suggestions on weight classes, engine enhancements, or chassis changes, is welcome.
Or come see me at Quaker Steak & Lube Diesel Rally, Sept. 10th.

I'm jealous, I wanna pull with you guys, wa wa.
anyway my truck wieghs in at 6500 lbs with a full tank and no spare and my 160lb ass in it. I guess the Mitchels run in 7000 and 7700 or 8000, so maybe a 7500lb class and 8500 would cover everyone. classes should be pure stock, street modified(drugs not allowed and no body mods or wieghts on the front, if a winch must be functional), and modified (everything goes for the Mitchelized)
Hows that sound

Adam,
Good input! From what I've heard from Miller Pulling Enterprises, they don't believe there is such a thing as stock. If it has insurance and plates, you are going to run!
I'm thinking things are leaning towards street stock, and modified stock. Probally one turbo, no drugs.
I think you are right about the 7500 class. I am at 6800 on fumes! Bigger tires and rims, full tank of fuel and I would be over 7000. Nobody wants to strip their truck every weekend.
I feel sorry for the Powerstrokes when they start bombing to run with the modified Cummins. I just don't think they will live.

You guys get to have all the fun. There is only one truck pull a year in my area and they don't have a diesel class. The same people put one on in two other cities about two hours away from me and they do have a run-what-you-brung class. I'd go and do it, but with my luck, I'd break something and have to walk home.

I can get mine down to 6200#s sans tailgate, spare, toolboxes, quarter tank of fuel, 1 license plate and me wearing a thong, which I have to admit is not a pretty sight #ad

Miller Pulling Enterprises will be at the Quaker Steak & Lube Rally Sept 10th.
Here's where we can tell the the people running things what we want/ think. I doubt there will be a group of Diesel heads this big in one place till next spring. Come on out and support Diesel play time!
