Hey, I'm always looken for a better job. Besides i'm tired of all the quarter mile races, just the facts man. These trucks are fast, but I bought mine to PULL.

Let's see..... Ford advertises the F-150 has more power than any OTHER full size truck, more towing, etc. , then they say the SD's have the most power of any other truck in that class. So, can I pull my 13,000 pound 5th wheel safely with the new Nissin or F-150? Must be. I need a lawyer.

Oh, and heard you can get an Allison in the Nissin and F-150. ;)

I saw my first Dodge 600 commercial tonight on TV!!!:D

It was a black 3500 large cab (I believe it was a 4X4)

I was busy with a project, but just noticed it when they mentioned the Cummins. :D

It was a good ad! Shows a jobsite with some workers listening to another worker, he is making fun of the boss... . Suddenly a black Cummins drives up, and the boss gets out. The guy is still talking smack about the boss... didn't hear him drive up. :D The Boss starts clapping... Busted! The kicker was "The new 600 Cummins turbo diesel, with an industry leading 600 ft/lbs of torque. Funny how it sneaks up on ya. " :D

Saw the new 600 ad

I saw a new Cummins 600 ad for the first time tonight. It was on NBC during Average Joe. It shows a black shortbed QC throughout the whole commercial. The end shows a Ford sitting on the side of the road with the driver on a pay phone calling for help. In the meantime the Dodge backs up and hooks up a tow line to it and starts dragging it away while they claim highest in class towing capacity. It also has the claim of the highest in class torque and interior room, but surprisingly nothing about the horsepower. Anyways, it's about time DC starts pushing the Cummins. Guess we'll have to wait and see how strong of a campaign they've planned.

I haven't seen that one yet but it sounds great. Someone also reported seeing one where the 600 pulls a Duramax out of the way so the Ram could get the job done. :D I can understand why they didn't mention horsepower though, since it only ties with the Ford. I recently saw a Ford PSD commercial where they said "unsurpassed horsepower" which would be correct. They didn't even mention torque though and they were talking about how much it could tow. It's funny how low-end torque, according to Ford, is very important (F-150 ads) but then on the PSD, horsepower is what matters. I guess whichever way you have to skew the commercials to make your truck sound better.

I guess I'm going to have to start watching some of these reality shows in order to see a commercial. Is it really worth it though?:D

I just saw the Dodge pulling the Ford (with the wheels locked) commercial. Now that was good. Especially when the Dodge honks his horn (sure is wimpy sounding, though) and the Ford guy raises his arm out of the screen and you know what his hand is signalling. :D Great commercial.

Fox News, MSNBC, History channel and Discovery don't seem to show them. I guess I'm not in the target market segment.

That's right. I usually watch The History Channel, Discovery, CMT or TLC and I never saw one. Tonight, I've been too lazy to change the channel from one of the network show's reality programs and I've seen the commercial several times already.

Yeah, I haven't seen the commercials on Discovery, TLC, History Channel, or news channels. I first saw it on NBC and I think also on FOX. I guess if you want to see them you'll have to put up with the prime time reality TV that our world has come to. I haven't seen the Duramax one but I hope to soon so I have something to chuckle about with my friends that drive them.
