Picked up Wed. night in St. Louis, and drove it home to SE FL. 18 House and 1150 miles it has a new home.

The ride went well, truck got a salt bath coming out of St. Louis but stoped in TN and washed it. Somhow salt got all over engine comp, washed it also but have a few rust spots allready, welds and on engine block, stupid but would have happened anyway being around salt water so much.

All I can say is that the truck is PERFECT! No raddles, no, 2000rpm vib, no leaking oil, truck is very well refined. The engine sings, well worth the wait for the 600!

What I did not like!

No auto up for the windows.

Diesel pumps are gross! Messy the hand grip and diesel on the ground all over. Guess I have to get used to this. Think I might buy some laytex gloves for fueling.

I did not get to race anyone on the way home, big disapointment, seems like people with the diesel trucks are all pulling trailers or are going the speed limit.

It was 1150 miles on the way home averaged 16 mph, I was wishing for more, but drove 75-90 mph most of the way.

The Pics are in my readers rides PLEASE LOOK, my neighbor asked if somthing was broke when I was taking PICs.

The CAT looks like a big egg and could easly be sawed off If one would like to do such a thing. I like it, the exhaust does not choke me out!

If you have any questions about the 600 or would like a special pic PM me.

One more thing... . Tomeygun rocks, best deal in the country and even filled up the truck with diesel for me!

I went to take a picture and it said 245! Just kidding, I went out and took a picture of that and the front cooling stuff.

Wife and neighbors think i'm nuts now! They just don't understand!

Hey, is that a "Drill here for Pyrometer" embossing on the exhaust manifold? ;)

I'll take some more pics of the turbo area tomorrow, will have them up early afternoon. Just got back from Orlando, have 1500 miles on the truck in 48 hours! Its looking like 16mpg so far on average. Wiper delay stoped working tonight, rained all the way up and back.

I agree... . and I'm sure it won't be long and the gloves will be off... . he'll get used to it:D

hey bish... let me know if the exhuast smell changes, I delivered another "600" today, and still find it funny that the exhuast has no really "diesel fuel" smell to it... I think i might go out and inhale for a few hours and see how it goes

When the truck is first started I smell a little bit of diesel fumes if I go back by the exhaust area, once its warm, like 1 min. it does not smell like a diesel at all. I like it, I was gonna post if someone cuts their cat. off to send it to me just in case if mine ever goes bad! So far the emissions thing is positive!
