Go to the bussauto.com that chris has listed above, the "shortstop" are the ones that i have used. get either the 20 or 30 amp. you'll fine that these work far more reliable the a fuse in most applications of heavy draw, like your charging sysytem for your trailer, tounge jack, brake controlers etc, most tractor trailers have breakers in the place of fuses. I think I got mine @ NAPA.

??????????

I can't see anything... .

But I did end up putting that Prodigy in that little cubby ashtray thingy & it turned out well. The well thought out little things on these new trucks are fantastic, like the plug & play brake controller etc... Yah!!! Ya gotta rememeber my last truck was a 1994 which I was elated to DUMP at the dealer.

mikepvg,

The picture is in the "some modifications" gallery. But nevermind since you already got it mounted. Pretty slick huh, the way it just plugs in (almost). I had an '01. 5 before this one and the difference is incredible. The improvements are astounding.

Ooops! I saw your picture (very nice place to install BTW) but I thought you meant the fold down ashtray type thingy on the left, which I thought was pretty useless. Where you put your controller... I actually found an excellent place to store my Copehagen & Skoal cans for esay reach!

I removed the door, cut out the back of the mounting pod & put it back w/o the little door. I could still put or store (something?) underneath the controller w/o it falling out.

Either way is superior to the traditional place where it always hit my knee etc... & just looked out of place, like a wart on the end of a nose... Of all the things (which are many) I'm surprise they didn't put a cool slot that would slide out when needed for a controller.

BTW, I'm at 1400miles & up to 15mpg & everything is still perfect. I spent so much $$ on my 94 to make it work right. I don't have to change anything on this o4 truck... just enjoy it!
