I sold all of my Mercedes 123 diesel cars and parts and jumped to a gasser:confused:. I have been searching for a few months for the rare BMW 325it wagon with a stick shift 5 speed. The hard part to find was the 5 speed stick. Whole different animal to drive from my truck. Can't tell you how many times I stalled it taking off in first gear. Not quite the LOW end torque of the Cummins. I scored with this one because it only has 61,000 miles on it! I somehow just can't stay away from German cars. Funny thing, I have caught myself looking a few times while driving for the EXHAUST BRAKE KNOB! :p It is a sweet ride!

BMW's more than anything else are suppose to be for people who embrace spirited driving. I notice that they've gotten away from that by putting all kinda cushy stuff in the cars, like iDrive and assisted this and simulated that, and getting away from the ergonomic perfection they had years ago. It looks like you have one of the last "driver" cars. I see no garbage. Just a nice powertrain/ chassis, interior, instrument cluster, and a third pedal.
Now go find a mountain road and wring it out!
