Good, cause I am either going Twins, or BB turbo... .

I do not want the B1 like everyone else, you know...

I look forward to more concrete info as to lag, price, egts, spoolup, and of course... . durability!!!

Well, let's set the record straight then. Joe doesn't work for us, doesn't even live in the same state anymore. Just a customer once again.

I didn't say he worked for you. Last time I saw him dyno DD drove the truck. Somehow I don't think locality stopped the collaboration.

Actually Mark, I think Joe has kinda stepped back from the high HP wars for a bit. He always wanted Lawrence (not DD) to drive his truck on the dyno, because in testing that was always the case. Lawrence has this pretty keen knack of being able to hear when things are right or wrong.

Anyway, back to the comment - Joe is just a customer, once again.

Big Dan.

For your 1600 you can buy the new twins piping kit from PDR and an HT3b. A few other odds and ends and you will be able to hang with the ball bearing turbos for a while. Probably out last them too. Just another option.

I would like to hear more about this. I dont see anything on the site. Im looking to build a set come spring.

I had nothing to do with the development of the Jammer turbo. It includes the downpipe and the compressor elbow and piping to the intercooler on 3rd gen trucks. I'm not saying it is hard to install a turbo, just that the kit for a 3rd gen was somewhat involved; it was complete and everything fit correctly. My involvement with DD concerned the Wolverine truck. In using DD products, Lawrence et al. were the developers and I was an end-user.

I have been fortunate that Lawrence was willing to "drive" my truck on the dyno. He can indeed hear and feel whether all is right or something is on the verge of going wrong. I believe he is the most knowledgeable dyno operator and designer on the planet.

As for a 600 hp truck for your girlfriend to drive--that is indeed a challenge in most cases. I remember a supposed 680 hp truck brought to May Madness from Texas that gave a best of 404 with the so-called "West Coast Correction Factor. " Hmmm, that is not such a big challenge :D That Texas correction factor is really something.

When sickly gets her tail from between her legs I'll be waiting for her at the far end of the track. . in my wife's powerstroke. :-laf :-laf :-laf I save it for the light work

Any bumbling idiot can install a turbo. I didn't say you helped develp it. I said you are VERY close to the folks at DD if not in body then in mind.

The truck in Vegas slipped time then broke a cam. I noticed you didn't come out to the track

How would the DD BB turbo compare to an HX-35/40 Hybrid? Would this turbo be able to swap out directly for a 35/40 hybrid, and keep the same tubing? Or is it an HX40 sized exhaust housing?

Has it been tried as a top turbo in twins? What are the three turbine sizes? Compressor sizes? Wastegated? Non-Wastegated? (can you choose?)

FYI, we got the first 160 turbos in today. We should have a name and pricing on it early next week. :)

I think I just got a little excited - I am a little scared of the price though...

Could this be the solution to the expensive and hard to install TWINS?

(I hope so)
