DTT Smart Controller install help

AFE filters

Well today I ordered the ATS stage 4 transmission package, It will be installed on 09-22-03, I'll let you know how it went. I ordered it thru TST, and they will be doing the install also. I have done business with Mark at TST before and felt very comfortable in going with him on this venture. Thanks for all the post offering advice on this subject, I read and appeciated every one. Oh I also went with a PACBRAKE also. Thanks

I've had my ATS for a year and a half, and I LOVE IT! You won't regret it! I feel they do the most thorough job of engineering of any of the Performance Trans Builders--they re-engineer, beef-up, strengthen, and heat-treat or cyrogenically treat many, many parts in their Stage IV. And they manufacture all their up-graded parts In-House--the quality is first rate.

I upgraded my transmission last year with an ATS stage four package. I have alot of power upgrades in my truck heavy HP. I had my truck in the shop [Precision Diesel] for some work last week and when I picked up my truck it would'nt go into reverse. Danny from Precision called ATS and talked with them about the problem. They figured it out and it was the forward clutches and another part of my stock transmission, nothing I even bought from ATS . Even though it was'nt anything I got from them they still sent us out replacement parts and offered any help they could give. I am so impressed with this companys service and knowledge that if I could only pick one upgrade for my truck it would be my ATS transmission.

Jim,Im glad your fixed, but without starting a war,can you explain how the stage 4 trans forward clutch had nothing to do with there parts?I thought ATS modified or made changes to that part of the trans,on the stage 4. I thought the stage 4 was an exchange transmission. If you installed a TC and VB i could understand it perfectly. Either way im glad your up and running again.

The ATS Stage IV is built to certain specs. It is not only an exchange trans, although you can order one that way if you want. For instance, I took my truck to them and watched them re-build my stock trans to Stage IV specs.

rrausch, thank you for clearing that part of the question up. What stage is it that ATS builds then that modifies 3rd with more clutches, for more holding power? I would tend to think that would qualify as non stock.
