Black is not a color, it's a job.

Yep, I have had two back vehicles.

I wouldn't own a black or dark colored vehicle either... I live in the SW AND down a 1/4 mile long caliche road. I think the Hellcats are cool too, but wouldn't own one.

EDIT: I owned one black vehicle in my lifetime and it was a special edition 1983 Toyota pickup. It was like a mirror, so much so, people would actually touch it... only owned one other dark vehicle a 2002 Ram 3500 Forest Green Pearlcoat. No more dark vehicles, they're more than a job.

I do like the looks of this and other special edition Ram though.

Black vehicles are sharp, if you are dedicated to keeping it shined up. I don't care for the totally blacked out look, and I really, really don't like all black wheels that make it look like an Amish buggy. Nothing against the Amish, mind you:p

I hate black wheels about the same as a kid in black hoodie! Was glad the Edge ST we bought recently had the standard 20" wheels and not the 21" black wheel package.

My 1996 Ram was black. It only looked good twice... when new, and after I had it repainted in 2002 (lots of unnecessary wear at 6 years old). Pic is when it came out of the body shop.

And in Arizona.....one HOT job... White is the only way to go for this moorhead. But to each own, Tow and let Tow!! =)

I seem to wind up with red truck here in Phoenix. After about 10 years they start turning white though. Wouldn't know why. Think it has anything to do with 362 days of sun per year? ;)

My wifes truck is pearl white and mine is bright (like me) white. Silver and light tan seem to work for folks too. White dust on whit, cept'n my tow body bed is black... thought of painting it white on the sides and rear, but haven't gotten there yet. One thing I've forgotten to ask folks complaining about AC performance what color their trucks are... white easier to cool. Last week 107°F here and AC showed 50° at the vent... had temp set to 72°. We were comfortable. Same when we were in Phoenix in 2017 about 108°.

You probably know better than anyone here my tribulations with black. Not a good color at all for a work truck. If I had it to do over again I'd have passed up a good deal for something more sensible.
Seems like I say that Everytime o_O

That duster would be definate no no on a black vehicle. Dark colored vehicles look great when well cared for but it generally doesn't last very long.
