Will 305/70 R16's fit on our trucks without hitting?

I helped a friend put a set of Applied Rotor Technology's cryoed/slotted rotors on his '01 Furd F250 V10 today (don't worry, I give him crap about it all the time). These rotors are cryoed, and from what my buddy told me, the Furd guys on the BBS he goes onto love them. He's claiming no questions asked lifetime warranty on them. I'm in need of new rotors (mine are cracking and are well worn down... also have never been turned) and figure that I might just spend the extra money and get some good ones. From what I've read it looks like you can't hurt them and that's what I want for the times it's necessary to slow from 110 to 55, right now.

Anybody ever use them on our trucks? They don't have us listed on their webpage, but I emailed him about a quote for them. Should be somewhat cheaper then the $400 my buddy paid, because his is a full hub assembly and we just have the rotor.

Snoracer- Since the ART guys don't list a Dodge on their website, I've requested a quote and asked if they had any interest in a group purchase... Probably same as you did :D Now we wait an see. They make a pretty good argument, and I know our blue circle brethern have had big problems with brake rotors cracking...

I think that Ford rotors are designed to warp. ;) I think every Ford I've owned except an '89 Mustang warped the rotors. If they can be turned after warping, it's like they have been tempered and usually don't warp anymore. At least that's my experiences.

As for my Dodge, I have'nt measured the run-out, but they don't feel like they've warped one bit. But I'd still like a set of slotted rotors for the front, and rear if anybody makes them. I'm interested in these, so I'll keep an eye out.

Doubleclutch... you'd be correct. I only asked for the quote though, as I wasn't sure about a GP and I'm already heading one up on the DT trackbar issue... don't think I'll take my chances at getting burned twice (not that I'm gonna get burnt on the DT thing, but I am not getting a couple responses already from people who said it was a go).

I'm gonna give 'em a call Monday and see what they say (I like phones better then email).

My buddy said that a guy got a very slight wobble in the brakes after his wife rode them on his Furd w/ a big 5ver on... called and told the guy what happened and was sent a new set free of charge... that's the kind of company I like to do business with.

The one downside my friend is claiming is a 4-6 week wait... supposedly they're so popular now he isn't keeping up with demand very easily.

We'll wait and see.

Well I couldn't find anyone arround hear that would dip my rotors in some liquid hydrogen, so I just looked up the number of the nearest NAPA auto parts store in alaska, and had them ship me a set, next day air. What you think of that? :--)

Well, finally got an email back from Dean at ART, and he gave me a quote of $330+shipping for my '01 2500 4x4. This is the price for TDR members is the jist I get from his email.

I'm about 95% sure I'll order a set before the end of the week. If anyone else wants to, phone number is

P. S. Two of my friends have these rotors on Furd's and like them a lot... figure I'll spend good money once and quit worrying about my brakes.
