Nosir. I actually haven't even had it in 4wd in a looong time. As long as I don't 4wd launch it or somethin I believe I can keep it together.

Hmmm, some of the roads Ive been on W Virginia require 4wheel drive just to get up..... :D

Hey Roach, are you anywhere near NorthFork? Me n some of my pals are headed that way the first weekend of May to do some wheelin. We come down every year, sure is purdy country down there :)

Yeah, the axle shafts are the weak link... maybe the locking flange in the hub... . I've broken many of the 44s. Never very happy with them, unless I get some upgraded shafts and flanges... But I don't tend to be very conservative, and certainly don't go very long without putting it in 4x4, so you may be able to keep it together better than I could..... :D Still very nice.

Hey diesel4life, I was actually just down around North Fork this past weekend, my uncle and a bunch of family went ridin. We rode some Hatfield McCoy trails. I love riding those trails, it's gorgeous.

Thanks again HH. I wanna hook it to a sled once or twice but I'm gonna wait until I get another vehicle to drive around before I go and destroy driveline parts.

Thanks!

I moved my mud flap behind my exhaust today to try and prevent the exhaust heat from burning my mudflap up anymore. I also tigged a nice shiny piece of 5in onto the end so it looks a little nicer.

Nice! Were gonna be hittin up Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek, and Pocohontas. We stayed at Twin Hollow last year (straight up the mountain from Gilbert :D) and rode the Rock House and Bear Wallow. Where abouts did you ride? It sure would be swell havin a local to ride with (hint hint :D:D) Its a blast down there I love it and look forward to going every year. If I had all that action in my back yard, Id probably be divorced :-laf

We rode Indian Ridge and Pocohontas last weekend. Last October we hit up Rock House. We would have hit Pinnacle Creek if we would have had better luck with bikes breakin' down. My chain broke like 400ft. into the first trail then my little cousin's bike broke a chain and kept jumpin' the chain the whole way through the trail. I am not a local by any means, my uncle has a GPS and a printed map of the trails and we get around pretty well that way. It's a 3 hour drive from my house to most of the main trail heads. haha

Well, the invite would still stand if you would be able to make it down even if for a day. We have a cabin reserved at Ashland Resort from Thursday, May 2 through Sunday May 5. Would love to see that first gen first hand! My trusty 98 will be there loaded down with a bunch of machines :)

Hey Roachcoach. .

Love the shortbed truck. IMO, the ultimate dodge plow truck. I'd love to build one for my snow plowing activities, here in NJ... . except that it really doesn't snow here anymore. .

Thanks for sharing your ride. .
