new clutch

looking for a new clutch. possably the south bend whitch one do you recomend?? I tow around 12K little less

My son and I have SBC clutches in our trucks ('90 & 93). I would recommend one to anyone, they are great and with terrific support from the company

company what do you do? do you tow at all? what weight do your trucks run? I tow a little less than 12K so truck and trailer is 18K pounds.

Call or e-mail Peter at SBC he is very knowledgeable I just put a SBC clutch in my truck as well as one of there input shafts.

Well I'm retired now. I tow our 24' Wildcat travel trailer and we are towing at less weight than you do. The clutch works fine and I did consult with Peter @ SBC on both of our trucks. I gave him the HP figures and told him how and what the trucks would be used for.



We put a '96 (P pump) engine in my son's '90 truck and it has more HP than mine and has the same clutch. It works just fine in his too, with no slippage
