New counter weight for engine compartment.

Well the new engine compartment counter weight is in and making whistling noises. I put a couple pictures in my readers rigs album.

I'll run that by my wife. Need more "weight" in the front of the truck for four wheelin to keep the front end down going up hill climbs!!

I put a few miles on the twins today. They run around 8 to 10 lbs of boost at 65 mph on level ground. Haven't gone over 35 lbs of boost yet but it does that with 1/3 throttle. Starts to whine around 25 lbs. But not unpleasant.

Well I tried to get this thing ready for first gen day but it is not cooperating. Blew a head gasket this afternoon. I had just retorqued the head and moved the camplate forward a little boost went up to almost 50 lbs. I did 5 roll ons up to 48 to 50 lbs of boost. Headed home and temp started to go up so I pulled over and opened the hood. Oil coming out of my breather bottle. Bad gray foamy oil. Called triple A. Don't know what caused it. With o-rings and studs at correct torque it should have held at 50lbs. Won't know till I see it apart .
