Found a Crew cab

S.O.S. Truck WRECKED, Parts Needed

My new 85 Crew Cab came in today. Got it off the truck and started cleaning it out, found two dead birds and lots of pine needles:eek: . Too bad I don't need a 360 V8, this one runs like a clock. Hopefully I will be done tearing apart my old Crew Cab:( by this Wed. , then I can rip the new truck apart and start the conversion process all over again  I am going to sand blast the floors to remove all signs of surface rust(interior and dash will be out). So I hope my truck will rise from the ashes in about two weeks :D. I am also going to install 2, 1997 Dodge seats, so I anyone has a good idea on how to do this please let me know.

A little note to you guys who have or are going to build your own truck, GET IT APPRAISED and have it insured for that amount!!! My truck was insured for $15,000, and this one will be at $17,000. If I had not done this I would have only got the value of a 1985 4X2 Crew Cab which is $5000.

Congratulations, Kyle..............

I'm sure your new one will be even better than the last (You got all the experience now and won't make the same mistakes you did the first time) ;) I think if I had to do one again, it would probably take about 1/3 the time my first one did... ... .

Keep us posted, happy wrenchin'... ... ...

Hey crew cab

Not to rain on your parade or tell you what yo do but if you could find some one to media or soda blast the floor you'll like it better and it's easier to get all the left overs out. Eastwoodco.com sells a compound called corroless that works like a charm to shoot the floors in or underneath if you going that far. I did the hole underneath side of my car in it as well as all the hiden places during install. Here's a look!
