New Cummins Engine?

Does anyone know if the current fueling boxes will work on the new common fuel rail? Also, DC calls this the most powerful engine you can get in a truck. I thought I heard that the new PowerStroke is even more powerful than the new Cummins. Any news?

Current fueling boxes will not work on the new engine.



The new powerstroke is 6. 0 liter v8, and the "concept" numbers were in the 350hp and 600 ft lb. area.

The production models are 300hp/ and about 550lbs. (this is what I have heard).

But yes the Cummins will be the most powerful Diesel in stock configuration in a Pick up truck.

305hp/555 ft lbs. (1400rpm-2700rpm) (peak hp @2900rpm).
