New Di Pricol pyro gauge reads 200 out of box. Problem or not?

My Di Pricol gauges arrived today. (Very nice gauges) When I removed the pyro gauge from the box the needle was on 200 degrees. Is this normal or should I return it for replacement?

Doesn't sound right, guessing here that you don't have it installed yet ??? Try just hooking up the thermocouple and see if it reads room air temp.

Your gauge is fine I just put Dipricols from enterprise engine in mine thursday night the white face ones. Your pyro will have a spring around both leads on the back of the pyro take that off and hook up coupler once installed. The biggest probelm was inside the cab gettin the wires all ran and hooked up and hidden. Under the hood was easy. Yor gauge is fine.
