New Dipricol Optix - Pyro Does Not Work

Hopefully someone can offer me some advice. Just installed my new Dipricol Optix guages and the pyro does not work. Everything looks to be connected correctly. After reading through the archives, I switched the thermocouple wires, still does not work. Pulled the guage out of the A-pillar and verified that the connector to the back of the guage has a good ground and 12volts(with ignition on), thermocouple wires are tight. Not sure what else to check. What are the chances of having a bad guage or thermocouple right out of the box?
