Mileage probably sucks for about the first 3/4 of a mile... . then pretty darn good for about the next 80miles or so as he coasts to a stop!

I've seen this truck run. Talk about flying low. It raced an airplane and won in the 1/4. They say it has more weight to horse power than the space shuttle. I believe it has F-16 engines on it!

her name is "shockwave" and, believe it or not, they run Diesel thru the jets..... startup/warmup is spectacular when the driver (pilot? loon?) cycles the engines thru a few "smokes"... he'll get a huge white cloud, and then "flame" it clean, 2-3 out of each engine, and then, when it's time to GO! he firewalls all 3 (with afterburn! #ad
) and away he goes!
Saw it on a trucks edition of the "extreme machines" show on TLC or Discovery a few months ago

Saw that show,they have to put his tire on a perfect balance by shaving them down. At 250+mph they tend to go out of balance. Cool.
