Ever since I had the 370's installed, my egt's were running a lot warmer than I had liked. So like most of us here, instead of stepping back and putting my 300's back in, I had to buy another mod to cool them. So today I had a Dodgezilla installed w/a 12cm w/g housing.
Right away I notice a decrease in egt's. Probably at least 100-150* less. I can still bury the needle at WOT, but the time it takes to get there has been decreased. There is a tiny bit more lag on a WOT launch then w/the stock HX35. On a normal take off ,it not even noticeable.
Tail pipe smoke is a lot cleaner. WOT it's a lot more gray then black. Due to the weather conditions I could not play too much.
I did take a 312 mile road trip. This was over hwy 299 that is a 2 lane mountainous road. When I arrived back in town I still had just over half a tank. I filled up and it took right at 15 gallons. 20 mpg
Just last week I went to the same place and only average 18 mpg. But I did about 100 more in town miles on that tank.
I would like to thank Brad Ponci for squeezing me into his busy schedule today and RBratby for sending me a sweet turbo. Thanks guys.
