I just wanted to say thanks to Rip and Bob (Source Automotive) they are a pleasure to deal with. Both answered alot of questions on the Dodgezilla before I even bought one. Now I have a 250 mile road trip for break in :D . I also need to thank Rob Thomas for selling me the SBC without it I couldn't get the little power I have to the ground. Just running around town it seems like I have seen about a 300 egt reduction and the smoke is alot less at take off. Can't wait to break it in then I'll be ready for the summer fun :D .

Thanks again guys,

Matt

Hey Renegade, did you get the Dodgezilla with the 7 blade 63 mm compressor wheel? I guess its the latest the thing they've been trying... . supposed to spool up even faster. Please give us an update after the break-in.

Boyd.

Hey Borush I'm pretty sure its the 61 mm wheel. I can tell it spools alittle slower than stock. I've only seen 15 psi so far but it does take longer to see boost. I'm still happy though.

Thanks Renegade. What exhaust housing do you have?

The PDR 35 uses a 58 mm compressor wheel with 6 blades.

Boyd.

It takes 1000 miles or so for it to really spin freely. Spools like crazy. I run it to 45-46psi. Through the Scotty 2 and cowl hole------omigosh! Oo.

You'll be SKEERED before the EGT gets hot.

and went from 415-473 RWHP with it.

yes, but talking to jason today, the 63mm pinwheel is still experimental and is being used only in some certain applications .

If you did 415 with a stock turbo and say a 12cm housing I'd bet your EGT's were 1800, right were they need to be:p

Jim

I've been trying to decide between the Dodgezilla or the PDR HX35 with a 14cm housing. Can anyone tell me the advantage of the Dodgezilla over the HX35?

Thanks,

John

Dodgezilla is "made" in 'BAMA, not all the way across the continent. Think how much faster the Big Brown Goody Truck will get it to you. It has a snazzy name. We think it flows more air. ;)

If you're going to stay under 400--go ahead and get the PDR. :p

Thanks for the support Jim. Really don't know, my gauge tops out at 1500. :D Some folks just don't unnerstand.

I know with my stock turbo and the drag comp on 4X5 I could take the pyro past 1600 easy. One thing I did notice today is at about 75 mph my fuel preasure is down to 9 psi with 10lbs boost going up a small grade. Can't remember what EGT's were exactually but I know they were alot better than before with the stock turbo, next time I'll write them down. Guess its time for a PE4200 darn it LOL. I now have 75 miles on it and man I can't wait to spool it up because it sounds good just running down the road.

My question is after 1000 mile's will the shaft spin easier than when I did the install because I really couldn't tell a difference between the Dodgezilla and the stocker for resistance in the shaft?

Absolutely. It's a joy to listen to it spool down on a quiet night.

Another thing I like is that the temps are down when I pull into the driveway- after easy driving. I used to sit and wait for the temps to drop. Now cools down way fast --even after the hard runs.

Maybe not as fast on a 12v--but I'm fixin to find out about that too!
