Thanks for the good words. I will tell everyone now how you called me after only being gone for an hour or so, and with a serious tone in your voice said; Bob, this is jj... ... ..... :) I still like it. But your pause got me for a second.

Now for the tires, the warranty does not cover them. :D

See ya in a couple of weeks.

jj it sounds like the transmission install went fine. I told you it was the best thing I did and look where I am at. Headed out to Bandimere again next week. The way you are going it will be sooner than 2 weeks before you need the first fluid change. Tell Bob I said HEY next time you talk to him. He is a great guy and does excellent work.

ya i new i forgot something! putting rips 5" exhaust on there to! ya i know about needing a turbo or twins!!!:D that will have to wait till spring or early summer have to pay some of this stuff off now! and it wont really matter cause soon as the first snow flies truck is parked inside for the winter!! then both my 1st gen get to do all the dirty work!!

30 Hours later...

I've been in z truck most of it... . I really really love this transmission.

My wife is LHAO that I want to drive her everywhere...

Cumminspuller... Put those DD1's in tonight!

Mike L. your right! I may have to reschedule for Wednesday:D

Hey LaserBob your my Hero!

E Wag. What altitude do you live at?

440 where do you live? I'd love a ride when your done!

Being at High altitude and driving threw Denver a lot I want to be able to control the smoke... but Now that I have a real transmission I'm thinking in order, FASS fuel system to be installed very soon, Then DD2's or Mach 1. 5's, TST or Comp, ATS manifold and then the TURBO???? not sure there??

Man I've got to relax this face, it's starting to hurt.

I had so much fun after my DTT I let the wife drive home, 750 miles.

I knew she could not hurt it. :D

I did not tap the pump wire either, when I need it I'll do it but they (DC) responsible for the VP until then. Actually, the pistons, crank, cam, block, VP and rearend is ALL they are responsible for any longer.

Re:Altitude

I guess I've got to start soliciting the High Altitude Bombers, I'm amazed how much load a tight TC put the engine pre boost:D ... . Because of that I'm going to limit myself in the DD2 Mach 1. 5 arena and go for power in the box. Yes I will tap the wire I gave up fighting.

Opinions very welcomed.

Bombing

JJohn, go with the mach 1. 5's and a tap you'll have tons of power. I went to PDR's dyno day on 09-27-03. The mach injectors did much better and less smoke. BTW I was able to do a 428. 1H. P. and 1K of torque:D That was with DDII's and a comp:D

Nice... I would be really happy with those Numbers. M1. 5's and a tapped box at 5500 feet hum. Turbo? HX35/12 might be the ticket for me.

I must admit that I was a little concerned when I saw the title, but what a relief. I am scheduled on the 13th for a DTT make over :). Can not wait ;) ;)

JJohn, getting a 14 cm wastegate will help alot with egt's. You could also go bigger but you will get som lag on the bottom end. The EDM will do the best for getting going on the bottom end.

E Wag

I've been reading the Don M EDM posts and leaning to the Mach 2's I guess I'm thinking I might as well skip a step on the way to the Mach 100's and save a buck or two. looks like I'm headed that way anyway.

I ordered a couple of books from amazon on Turbo charging... for whatever good that will do. Do you think a 14 will be a good balance on lag and EGT for low 400hp at 5500 feet?

DTT..............

DTT Rocks... ... ... :D Oo. :D Oo.

Relentless Diesel did an excellent job... ..... Installed the DD1's tonight with a little help from a "Friend ". Broke my boost line doing the install and did not have a plug during the test drive just had to duct tape it up. So no WOT runs yet. I worry to much.

Just my pennies worth.

jjohn... ..... very nice:eek:

jj you bad boy. Be careful, that tire rubber is a pain to clean off your truck and from inside the fender wells. Not that I would know;)
