Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) New DTT is on the way!!!

Well I just ordered my new transmission today, and I think the days are going by like weeks waiting to get everthing installed!!



My question is what else should I do to the truck as preventative maintenance while the transmission/tc is out of the way? I am going to try and eliminate any oil leaks, I have a couple, although not bad they are an irritant. Anything else I should do?

Right on Corey. Can't think of anything else other than checking the rear main seal. Since you're installing the transmission yourself it gives you a chance to clearcoat or spray paint it all up purdy before it goes in

You can't go wrong with DTT... I am on my second truck with one and have been very happy with it.

You will be very pleased with your choice I am sure. I have had one on my rig for many trouble free years. I pull 32' 5ver and it has performed great for me. . Now if I could only afford FUEL!! Currently in central Texas... would like to get back north.

Over 140,000 on mine and works as good as the day Bill installed it. Cant beat the customer satisfaction.
