Well I just ordered my new transmission today, and I think the days are going by like weeks waiting to get everthing installed!!

My question is what else should I do to the truck as preventative maintenance while the transmission/tc is out of the way? I am going to try and eliminate any oil leaks, I have a couple, although not bad they are an irritant. Anything else I should do?

Right on Corey. Can't think of anything else other than checking the rear main seal. Since you're installing the transmission yourself it gives you a chance to clearcoat or spray paint it all up purdy before it goes in :D

You can't go wrong with DTT... I am on my second truck with one and have been very happy with it.

Cheers!

You will be very pleased with your choice I am sure. I have had one on my rig for many trouble free years. I pull 32' 5ver and it has performed great for me. . Now if I could only afford FUEL!! Currently in central Texas... would like to get back north.

Thanks everyone. Should have everything in shortly. I am having a local distributor do everything for me, so it should be done right! Now I just have to sit and wait:rolleyes:
